    4 restaurants for a Parisian weekend

    Discover the 4 restaurants for a weekend in Paris that the Raoul team has selected for you.

    1. Caché, the New York loft restaurant in Paris

    Next door to the Père Lachaise cemetery, you'll need to venture down the rue Pavée de la villa Riberolle. You'll arrive at a cul-de-sac where no one would suspect there's a restaurant lurking in the background. A hostess will guide you to your table. You'll discover a place with the soul of a New York loft. Incredibly high ceilings and meticulously decorated with exposed metal beams and sofas strewn across the walls. The glass ceiling lets you enjoy the sun by day and the stars by night.

    In the kitchen, the focus is on seafood. A Mediterranean cuisine to share, with fresh, quality products. A special mention for the crab and langoustine rice and ½ fried octopus.

    For the wine, we were advised by the super team of waiters on site and we were not disappointed. We recommend "Lune Blanche 2018, IGP Côtes Catalanes", to die for.

    To finish with dessert, a special mention goes to this enormous pavlova which, we're sure, will make everyone agree.

    Highlights:

    • An intimate setting with industrial charm
    • Excellent seafood cuisine
    • A top team
    • A kitchen that opens onto the dining room

    13 Villa Riberolle, 75020 Paris

    2. Le Cherine, the ideal Lebanese restaurant for a couple's evening out in Paris

    Located rue de la Croix Nivert in Paris's 15th arrondissement, Le Cherine offers exceptional Lebanese cuisine. Open the restaurant door and you'll find yourself in a warm, modern setting. You'll be able to immerse yourself in the smells of the chef's cuisine, which will take you on a journey to Beirut for the duration of a meal.

    We opted for the discovery menu to share so we could taste everything, and we were transported to Lebanon. A refined and copious cuisine. After 4 cold mezzés, 4 hot mezzés and 1 mixed dish, there wasn't much room left for dessert. But how could we resist the crispy baklava so kindly offered?

    Highlights:

    • Refined, hearty cuisine
    • A discovery menu to share
    • Modern, intimate setting
    • Welcome and service ++

    3. Perruche, the rooftop restaurant with a breathtaking view of Paris

    On the roof of Printemps Haussmann, the Perruche restaurant offers an exceptional view of the capital.

    We first went to the restaurant at night and were entranced by the Eiffel Tower, which twinkled every hour. It was as if the world stood still for 5 minutes. In addition to the beauty of the view, the restaurant's floral setting and yellow-and-white-striped cushions took us for a stroll along the seafront.

    On the menu, the chefs offer a Mediterranean menu with starters to share. A special treat is the tarte tropézienne, which transports us to the Côte d'Azur for dessert.

    The second time we went there, it was for a drink at the restaurant bar in the late afternoon. It was an opportunity to admire the sunset over the capital, overlooking the city's thousands of chimneys and historic monuments. For the bar, we'd advise you to get there early, as you'll have to be patient to get your table during the after-work rush...

    Highlights :

    • Exceptional view
    • Charming setting
    • Provencal cuisine
    • Cocktails ++

    Printemps De L'Homme, 2 Rue du Havre 9th floor, 75009 Paris

    4. Kong, the restaurant perched on the top floor of the Kenzo building

    With a breathtaking view over the Pont neuf and the south of Paris, nestled on the roof of a building parallel to the Samaritaine, the Kong offers an exceptional setting. Founded by Laurent Taïeb and Philippe Starck, the place was bound to be impressive.

    To kick things off, we headed for the restaurant's bar. A cosy, chic, subdued setting with modern furnishings and breathtaking cocktails. We then headed for our table. Our table was located in one of the restaurant's most beautiful rooms, under the glass bubble offering the breathtaking view we mentioned earlier. Contemporary Japanese design from floor to ceiling, including the furniture.

    The chef offers Franco-Japanese cuisine with refined dishes that take us on a journey between the two countries. Original flavors to tantalize your taste buds in an exceptional setting, that's Kong's recipe.

    Highlights:

    • A splendid setting
    • A ++ cocktail bar
    • Unique fusion cuisine

    1 Rue du Pont Neuf, 75001 Paris
